Introduction

This lesson introduces the faculty to the procedures necessary to develop and submit new courses and programs and course and program modifications to the Curriculum Advisory Committee.

Provide critical information to faculty on all curriculum processes.

By the end of this lesson, the faculty will be able to:

  1. Identify individuals who can assist with curricular changes or additions

  2. Outline procedures for making changes to existing curriculum as well as implementing new initiatives

  3. Identify resources that will assist in defining and explaining a variety of curricular topics

  4. Find appropriate web resources on curriculum development
